Hamid Mohammad-Zadeh, MD, FACS, FACCS
Dr. Mohammad-Zadeh has been a partner at Lexington Vein and Aesthetics Center since its inception. He is an established cardiothoracic, vascular and lung surgeon in Lexington, Kentucky where he has practiced for more than 15 years. He obtained his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia in 1991, and completed an internship and residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center for general surgery. Thereafter, he obtained his cardiothoracic and thoracic fellowship at the University of Arizona Medical Center.
Board certified in general, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, Dr. Mohammad-Zadeh also obtained his certification with the American Board of Phlebology in 2010, in the third class of delegates for the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. He performs procedures using the latest advancements in medical technology, including minimally invasive surgeries.
Here at Lexington Vein and Aesthetics Center, Dr. Mohammad-Zadeh treats all kinds of venous and lymphatic disorders of the lower extremities. He manages his patients for these disorders medically, with minimally invasive laser procedures, and cosmetically. Utilizing laser and injections (in appropriate cases) for the treatment of venous insufficiency, he has performed over 1,000 endovenous laser procedures.
A dedicated husband and father, Dr. Mohammad-Zadeh enjoys running, skiing, tennis and spending time with his family.
